Very friendly landlord, helped with booking taxi for our trip, good breakfast, happy atmosphere in the pub life music in the evening. Spacious room with big beds lots of storage and clean bathroom

I had a 4 night break to explore the countryside in South Devon and Malborough is close enough to the sea to be able to walk there without needing a car which I wanted and it is near a bus stop so you can go by train which I did. You can see some of the more out of the way places by foot which are not commercialised and there are plenty of footpaths and lanes to get around. there are a lot of options for walking and day trips.I had a single room which was economical with a newly refurbished bathroom. There was some traffic noise as I had a bedroom in the front.

Property needs to be cleaner in all areas….
