Unfortunately, I am giving this property a low score which seems unfair to the staff that work there. The hotel is clean and the staff were very pleasant and helpful. However, the room is so small that it’s hard to walk without bumping the bed. There is also a very loud street that echoes into the rooms making it hard to get a good night’s sleep.

Desk clerk asked for a $100 deposit (i.e. actually charging the card and refunding it a few days later) though he really pushed for a cash deposit. It didn’t seem quite right to me and I didn’t like the vibe from the place so we just walked away from our prepaid reservation and found something else down the road. The fellow wasn’t rude or anything and the place seemed clean, but maybe it was the bulletproof glass in the lobby and the non-standard deposit that set me off.
