I have stayed at The Regency Inn Stillwell multiple times throughout the years when I visit my bestfriend that lives in the Ozarks. I keep returning because of the coziness and welcoming environment. The facilities are always clean and the owners are responsive. Thank you for being welcoming tol me each year! Regina Brown Brooks

This was not my first time at this location. I had stayed many times including a night less than a week prior. I ALWAYS travel with my service dogs (one for me and one for my daughter). And in literally hundreds of hotel stays over the years, never had an issue. However, when I went to check in, the clerk first accused me of having 4 dogs, then it was that my dog 'was not a servjce dog breed' (based on video he watched of our prior stay he claimed, which actually left me feeling really creeped out as the dogs only entered the room once, then exited when we left. All other activities at our room were my 2 teenage daughters coming in and out). Then when I stated he can think as he pleases, but he is not a medical professional so he cannot determine that, he said 'you can bring them in, but you will have to pay the pet deposit for 4 dogs.' Now, mind you, I only have 2 dogs. And they have never tore up or even soiled a room in any way, including there where the security deposit (regular incidentals) has always been returned. So he had no reason to make accusations my dogs were damaging, that I had more dogs than I do, or that my dogs are not service animals. He even tried to demand I show him documentation and contact the doctor who signed off on them. So, I just took my card and left. And even though I live in the immediate area now, I will never revist or recommend that location to anyone, ever.
