Rooms at the hotel are bright and airy, with a private terrace. They all have a satellite TV and seasonal air conditioning available from June to September. Globales Gardenia is just 1.9 mi from central Fuengirola and the famous Sohail Castle. The resort has shops, restaurants and lively nightlife. Marbella and Puerto Banús are also nearby. This was our 3rd visit but the changes did not improve the hotel. The refurbished restaurant was clinical and so noisy, the constant scraping of chairs on tiled floor. The former extra restaurant area which was a quiet haven is now the AI snack area briefly opened for the odd hour or so. We missed the outside water fountain too. In our bedroom, the balcony door and windows were in a bad state and badly needed painting. No hair drier in the bathroom is ridiculous. Also, we had no bidet. Beds were comfy and we slept well. Cleaning was not the best. The food in the restaurant was not as good as previous visits and there was less choice. Most staff were quite unfriendly. We did enjoy our holiday and spent time in Mijas and Malaga which was lovely. We probably won't return to Gardenia Park Hotel again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It is my 3rd one this year. Staff are wonderful caring friendly and efficient. Food was very good with plenty of variety and for the price it was very good value. Rooms are basic but clean. However a fridge and kettle would have been handy. Area is within short walking distance of bars supermarkets and shops. Bus stop to Malaga or fuengirola right outside. Very popular with English and Spanish and nearly always booked up
