Yes, the room was clean. The staff was very kind and friendly. Air conditioning worked well. Shower was great. The power outlet in the bathroom was loose and the hair dryer would not stay plugged in. Even with that very small issue it still is now my favorite hotel in Paris.

The hotel is very centrally located, and it is clean and well kept. But there are a few serious issues. We booked a "family room", confirmed as one room with 2 queen size double beds - what we got, was two separate, small (15 sqm) double rooms in the same floor (room 110 / room 111). In the reception, they explained to us that this was the hotels "definition" of a family room. No connection between the rooms (you needed two separate key-cards to go from one room to the other), no space for kids / for a family. This did absolutely not meet our expectations. Then next morning was breakfast. We paid for the full buffet breakfast. We asked if it is was possible to have an omelette - it was not. They said they had scrambled eggs. We pointed out that there was no scrambled eggs left, and asked if they could please make some more - they couldn't. And of course no bacon left. We still had to pay full price. Again, this does not meet our expectation for a hotel with this rating. Please sell what you have (double rooms) and not something you do not have (family room), and please make sure that you listen to "fair" requests from your guests (like serving the breakfast you pay for) - and you will have more happy guests.
