Room was clean and spacious, bed was very comfortable. Staff were friendly and very helpful. Hotel is at the opposite end of downtown, but it is only a 15 walk. There are a lot of dining options close to the hotel, which we used the two nights we stayed. The town itself is nice and mix of private retail downtown and the big brands in 2/3 different locations, which are close to the hotel. Stouffville is also, as it happens, very close to Shitt’s Creek..

Location was good for us because it was just a few minutes drive from my mother's nursing home. The hotel and room were fine. The only thing unusual with the room was vinyl flooring rather than carpet, which make it uncomfortable for me to walk around in bare feet, especially because it was winter and we tracked dirty snow into the room which melted and left salt stains. We decided to leave our wet shoes by the room door to keep the rest of the floor dry.

I got an email for pre-checkin which is useless because you still need to wait to get a room key. There was nobody at the desk on arrival and had to wait 10 minutes to get the room key. There is no restaurant as advertised, there is a small room for the included breakfast, but we went to Tim Horton's because the breakfast was the worst I've experienced. The room itself was clean, the beds decent but the towels were stained. We listened to someone walking around above us quite late, since there are no carpets. We were attending the Equine Expo for the weekend and didn't spend much time in the room, so for what we needed it was ok.
