We are a couple 80 and 82. From America. Our granddaughter is doing a semester of her education in London. We wanted to visit her so I googled nearest hotel to her residence. The Old Farmhouse and Pub was nearest. When I saw it I thought it would be perfect. When we arrived and they saw that I was using a cane they immediately looked for a room with fewer steps. The accommodations were perfect for us. Our granddaughter came down to meet us. She was a five or less minute walk away. We went to the restaurant three of the four nights. Food was excellent as well as the service. When we inquired about a taxi to the airport they had someone there at the exact time. We had visited London about 10 years ago and did all the touristy things. This time we saw everyday life and enjoyed everything about it. The people were so kind to an older couple. I had always been proud to say I was an American now I'm proud to say I am English, Irish and Scottish. This was a wonderful trip and we highly recommend The Old Farmhouse and Pub.

Lovely place, very warm and welcoming environment, really enjoyed my stay here. I even got a complimentary drink when I arrived. They let me check in early and checking out was a breeze. The neighborhood is also very nice. Highly recommend!
