I think I got scammed? My wife and I tried to make a last minute reservation at this hotel on Expedia around 1AM because our AirBnB fell through. I completed the purchase on Expedia but had not yet received confirmation from the hotel. We arrived at the hotel 20 minutes later and they could not find my reservation. I had paid with PayPal, where it said it was waiting for Expedia to finalize the purchase. We were way too tired and didn't want to just sit around waiting for it to show up in their system. So I decided we would figure it out in the morning. So I paid for a room at the front desk. Wouldn't you know it, 2 minutes after I paid for the room, the Expedia confirmation email showed up and we ended up paying both on Expedia and the front desk. I don't know exactly how the Expedia system works on the hotel side, maybe it was just a coincidence. But it seemed all-too-convenient that the Expedia confirmation happened almost instantly after we had shelled out the money at the counter. Other than that this seemed like a lovely hotel. Just beware the Expedia booking experience!

Avoid this location if you can. It is next door to the Termini, the street is full of homeless, lots of unwanted action. I believe we also got the worse room in that hotel. Although you always attempt to spend as little time as possible in a hotel room, whatever time you do spend there you want to enjoy and relax. Old, betup room. Will not go back there unfortunatelly.
