After staying in hundreds of hotels, this was the oddest situation we’ve ever had. I saw the dog fee was $10 and the charge was $17. I guess a processing fee is standard here on a small amount. Then there is the $50 deposit for a dog, no biggie, and an additional $50 deposit for yourself, also no biggie. However, you have to get a room inspection before leaving to alleviate a charge, no matter what time it is. This was actually to my advantage. Upon entering the room, I took pictures of what we walked into. Cigarette burns all over the bedspread, horribly stained towels, food residue on the countertop, a big sling of something that looked like dried crap on the wall. When I called for our inspection at 7:30 am, the man said I had to walk to the office before they could come inspect. Geez, I said just come to the room, and he hung up on me. The lady came and told me the damage we walked into was no problem, we won’t be charged, she knew it was there. I asked why is it, if they charge people for damage, it wasn’t fixed prior to our arrival. Quite the stories in response. The beds were a little squeaky but comfortable enough. Shower worked well, the sink water went off and on during use, there was old dirt on the phone and fridge handle. Honestly,we’ve stayed in worse and the making us get an inspection to release the potential for additional charges and then putting us into this grungy situation biased me a lot against this place.

The room was adequate. There was no tissues or hairdryer and no towel holder in the room which was disappointing. There was an icebucket but no cups. There was a lot of yelling outside in parking lot. We suspect that we lost 5 gallons of fuel out of our gastank in our car while we slept.
