The overall cleanliness of this hotel was ok but in our room we found crumbs, red lint that matched nothing in the room, and a hair tie under a bedside table. It was clear by these things that the floor in our room had not been cleaned. Also, when inspecting the bed for bugs, we noticed that the mattress had a huge brown stain on it that was covered up by a mattress pad. I understand accidents happen, but when a mattress is stained this badly, it should be replaced, not only for cleanliness but also because bodily fluids will breakdown the fibers in a mattress over time.

Staff was extremely friendly. The room was clean where accommodating the breakfast was to be expected accommodating to different taste. Will definitely stay there again. If I have to end up going back to Monroe, I’ll book directly with hotels.com or them directly because going through trivago ended up paying a fee that was not disclosed.

The front desk was very helpful and nice. Room was very clean and parking lot had plenty of lighting. Beds were very comfortable. Will stay here again!
