All rooms offer air conditioning from June to September and elegant parquet floors. The Hotel Isabella is a lovely property in the best location possible for being in the center of Taormina. Convenient to all sights. However, we were disappointed in the room we were given. We reserved a room with a balcony for a five-night stay. We were assigned room 44 which they call a balcony and is no more than a protective railing. Not able to fit chairs to sit there. it can only fit one person at a time. We single filed onto to the ledge to look out. The room next door which does have a good-sized balcony (chairs and table), where the 2 sets of guests that stayed for approximately 2 days each, routinely enjoyed sitting out on their balcony and had a good laugh whenever we tried to go out there scraping against the exterior wall and the railing that they deem a balcony. The room below had a full terrace. We had a railing. We expected better considering we stayed 5 nights. In saying that, the staff were helpful and available and the breakfast buffet was ample.

Staff was A . Hotel was pretty much dead center of the main thorough fair in Taormina, which was very convenient. Although simple and quaint, it was very clean.
