It was clean, had been renovated, and was very comfortable. The bathroom was clean, too.

It was fine. My one issue is that they didn't specify the 4% charge for paying by credit card. The front desk clerk only asked how I was paying, cash or card. When I noticed the art was higher than expected I saw a the credit card fee listed only as "adjustment" on the receipt I asked and she only pointed to a sign saying in fine print there was a 4% fee for using a credit card. I am ok with there being a fee, but I am NOT ok with a fee not being explicitly stated. They should verbally indicate the fee. It takes 2 seconds and leaves the customer with a better feeling about the transparency of the transaction. Even better they should offer a discount for paying by cash rather than a fee for paying by credit card (which is doing something the vast majority of people do).
