I booked the room but never stayed in it because the person at the front desk refused to give me my room key even though I had already paid for it. He was extremely racist, and prejudice, and rude

I booked this place based on the price and it being somewhat close to the Masonic where we would be seeing a concert, but did not look into what the neighborhood was like. It was kind of scary. People all over the street yelling and drunk/high. The front desk staff was alright, but the office and rest of the hotel seemed kind of grimey. One of the bedspreads had several cigarette holes burned into it and one of the white pillows was stained. The room and bathroom did not feel clean. We were provided 3 towels, which were basically rags with how thin and rough they were. Will definitely not be staying here again.
