Good property, great staff but issues with rooftop restaurant. Music is loud and there were issues with heating. Beef meal poor due to excexcessive salt.

The Social Hub, great energy, but slipping service I genuinely love this part of Poblenou, and The Social Hub has been my go-to hotel for years. I’ve stayed here at least ten times. The atmosphere is always lively, full of young travelers, freelancers, and students, giving the place a creative, social pulse that few hotels manage to create. The rooms are consistently clean, modern, and comfortable. You sleep well here. No complaints on the basics. But service is where things quietly fall apart. The staff often feel distracted, almost forgetting that hospitality is part of the job. Small details start to irritate during longer stays: water only provided the first days, no tea refills, and a surprising amount of paperwork at check-in. Being asked for personal details like place of birth feels unnecessary and oddly intrusive. None of this is dramatic, just small frictions that add up, and unfortunately, the service seems to decline a little with each visit. Still, the location, price, and vibrant energy make it worth staying. Just don’t expect polished hotel service, think more «campus living with nice rooms»
