Everything was perfect. The location is ideal and the breakfast buffet was fantastic. The staff were friendly, but we encountered a problem when we checked in. I had notified the hotel of our late arrival, due to our flight schedule, several days in advance by phone and message , but this notice hadn’t been taken into account. When we arrived at 3am, we were charged for the room as a no-show and so had to pay £70. Fortunately, Hotels.com was very responsive and refunded the amount, but it wasn’t really a pleasant experience, especially when you’re very tired from the flight and have exhausted children.
