we enjoyed our stay in fort William and the Hotel was great. I know housekeeping is working overtime and we did our best to minimize our needs. for the most part I felt everything was clean and in good working order but if I could make a suggestion, it would be to clean the carpet next to the baseboards - I know it's a nitpicky thing, but it could make the difference whether someone sees the room as clean or just average.

A staff member just walked into our room while we were in bed (early evening). She said she was going to give us an extra heater. We never asked for an extra heater. REGARDLESS! She should have knocked first.

The food and the service in the restaurant was terrible. We waited for an hour to get our pizza while people who ordered after us had already got their steak. Had chase down the staff 3 times and then our pizza turned up burnt
