Room was clean. Heater&A/C worked well. Night lite near bathroom was very helpful. Bed was comfy but pillows were so-so. Room was rather small. All towels were in the toilet room but the sink was outside that room and there was no towel rack by the sink, so had to go into other room and reach above toilet to get a towel to dry hands/face. Chair at the room's desk could go up or down but it did not go very high and the desk counter was very high so it was hard to type on laptop. Breakfast was so-so; a few things were good but the eggs were very bad (don't know what they were made of). Staff were friendly. Lots of restaurants or shopping places nearby. If you cannot handle stairs, be sure to request a ground floor room; there is no elevator.

ROOM WAS CLEAN ENOUGH. BED WAS OK. AC RAN CONSTANTLY AND MADE THE ROOM COLD SO I HAD TO TURN IT OFF COMPLETELY. THE LIGHT IN THE SHOWER ROOM WAS DIM WITH AN OCCASIONAL FLICKER OF HOPE BUT IT WAS QUICKLY TAKEN AWAY. POOL WAS CLOSED (OF COURSE, MY LUCK) THE REAL KICKER WAS BREAKFAST...I AM COMPLETELY CONVINCED THAT THERE IS A BOOK THAT IS HANDED OUT TO EVERY NEW HOTEL OWNER THAT CONTAINS WAYS TO CUT CORNERS AND RUIN PEOPLES DAYS. IT STARTS WITH MAKING COFFEE WITH JUST ENOUGH GROUNDS TO TURN THE WATER FROM CLEAR TO FARM-POND TAN. TO ADD INSULT TO INJURY, THE CREAMER THIMBLES WERE CHUNKY SO I WAS FORCED TO POUR MY COFFEE DOWN THE DRAIN. OF COURSE, THE OH-SO-TYPICAL FARE OF POWDERED EGGS AND SOY BASED SAUSAGE WAS ON THE MENU AND FORTUNATELY NOBODY WAS PAYING ATTENTION TO FOOD INVENTORY AND THERE WASN'T BUT A DUSTING OF EGS AND TWO LINKS. IT MADE WALKING AWAY HUNGRY SO EASY.
