We were on our way to an important meeting, had a long day of travel, and had an hour to get ready. When the guy showed up abot 20 minutes later, he told us that they did not have a handicapped 2 bed room. He wanted to give us a king room. I told him no, that I had made specific reservations for specific reasons. Without saying a word to us, he went in the back, about five minutes later he came out and walked right past us, down the hall, and got into the elevator. He did not say a word to us about where he was going or what he was doing. At that point we talked about just leaving.We decided that we would take turns, waiting for him, while the other changed in the restroom in the lobby. He was once again gone for around 25 minutes. We were just about to put our luggage back in the car and leave when he walked past us without saying a word again. I said to my friend that this is just unacceptable, and I think he heard me because then he walk over to the snack bar, grab two candy bars and two bags of chips and two waters and stick them in a gift bag. I was finishing putting on my shoes and getting ready to walk out the door, he called me over and said, your room is ready as if nothing had happened. At this point I was mad. They did not clean our room, we had to ask for towels. The pool had only 1 towel. The breakfast lady acted inconvenienced toward us. The bright spot was a young man named Cole. He went above and beyond to take care of our special needs.
