Friendly staff at registration and in restaurant. Room large and clean. Stayed an extra night than what our plan originally was. Food at restaurant was excellent

The bathroom door had dried blood on it and a pillow. We bought Clorox wipes and wiped down the door and put the pillow on a chair. The cleaning gal only got $5.00 tip because we had plenty of toiletry supplies. You need to do away with full size beds and have queen size, sleeping was too uncomfortable. I think you could have less creepy pictures of the saints and angels kind of felt like the Shining. Grill had delicious food n our server Michaela was awesome!

The hotel itself is beautiful, with a wonderful gift shop, and has lots of cinematic history. It's right across the street from a little park where I could walk my dog, and the police station was just across the street as well. Felt very safe. All rooms are pet friendly and very spacious. There is an elevator as well as the grand staircase. The mattress was medium firm, but still comfortable . The shower has excellent pressure and the towels were nice and thick . Coffee and tea are in the lobby, as well as a restaurant which made a delicious breakfast burrito for me, although it took about 30 minutes. The hotel staff and restaurant staff were very pleasant. The most unfortunate things are1) when I arrived after driving for a few hours, I expected to use the restroom in the lobby . However the restroom is locked after 7:00 p.m. so be aware . 2) the restaurant in the hotel was also closed at 7:00 p.m.. 3) my room was not vacuumed well and I was left with only a quarter roll of toilet paper and no extras, and 4) the refrigerator did not have a small freezer as is common. I still highly recommend this hotel for the location and the ambiance. I would just check in before 7:00 and inspect the room more thoroughly so I could communicate any deficiencies to the staff.
