Lovely relaxed atmosphere. Great food and wine. Comfy bed.

Reception was great: staff helpful and efficient. Parking was adequate. We were given a free upgrade and I’d recommend the room with access to the veranda. Bed was very comfortable. The evening meal was slightly disappointing. However, it didn’t warrant a fuss. Breakfast was excellent and plentiful. Alfriston is a small Town with several restaurants and bars. Also, a few shops. A short walk to the Church and Clergy house to visit.

Lovely hotel. Friendly and very helpful staff. Food was excellent, both evening meal and breakfast.
