Great hotel, super breakfast, on Arriva the 3rd bed wasent available i out room, so the helpful receptionist quickly transferred is to a room with the 3rd bed and gave us complementary minibar. If i had to nidpick the the pool was a couple degrees colder than advertised

I stayed 3 nights at Ringhotel Fährhaus with my husband in July. We had a classic doubleroom on the ground floor, facing Dahlenburger Strasse. Our room rate included breakfast, which we deemed excellent. Our room was spacious enough and had a good bathroom with two sinks. The decorations and furniture in the room seem to follow the style from 1990’s/early 2000’s, but generally the room was in a neat condition. The only things we could fault was that there was a large spider web hanging from the ceiling as well as the lack of any type of a/c. It was +30 degrees outside in the middle of July and at least the same indoors. Luckily the window in the room could be opened, which helped the situation to some extent. We did not use the restaurant or the bowling alley, but visited the spa area, has a large swimming pool, jacuzzi and saunas, all and clean and comfortable. The staff at reception and in the restaurant during the breakfast were friendly and very helpful. We did not have to wait to be served. Also, as we are in our fourties, and knowing that Bad Bevensen is often visited by more senior people, it was nice to note that there were also other couples at our age staying in the hotel. Overall, we had a good and relaxing stay in the spa town of Bad Bevensen; the only issue was the temperature in the room during a heat wave. A nice touch was also the Bad Bevensen card, which allows for some discounts locally.
