I had an inside room with no windows. Based on the photos I was not expecting luxury. It was what I’d expect from a chalet at butlins in the 70s. It was clean, which is important. The shower had very little pressure. However, the worst thing by far was how hot the room was. It was just unbearable. I had two fans that barely made a dent. I would guess that the temperature was probably about 35C, no exaggeration it was similar to being in Thailand. I didn’t sleep one bit. The fans could only be plugged in over the other side of the room as well, so any effect they might have had couldn’t be felt. If you’re booking this hotel between April and September just be aware of this

Stayed at Sachas Hotel Manchester for two nights and unfortunately the experience was let down badly by the service and overall condition of the hotel. The room itself was acceptable and we paid extra for a window, although it overlooked construction and was quite dirty. There also appeared to be a lot of ongoing maintenance around the hotel, which affected the overall feel of the stay. The biggest issue was the staff. Check-in was uncomfortable, with the staff member more focused on arguing with another guest and audibly complaining under his breath while serving us. It didn’t feel welcoming at all. We asked for basic items (toilet roll and extra pillows) and were told housekeeping had finished for the day and to go buy toilet roll from a nearby shop. That’s not an acceptable response in any hotel. The following day, after asking again, items were left thrown on the bed rather than properly sorted. When we raised this, we were dismissed and told reception was “done” and they were busy due to football the next day. There also appears to be no proper option or structure for room maid service, which adds to the frustration when even basic requests aren’t handled properly. Location is great and the room was fine for a short stay, but the lack of service, poor staff attitude, and ongoing maintenance issues really let it down. Wouldn’t return based on this experience.

This was a bargain really. Stayed here for one night in a triple room and it was everything we needed for staying in Manchester on a night out. If you’re on a budget I would recommend this place
