DO NOT STAY AT THIS LOCATION! We book at this property because of the rating and cost for 5 nights to attend our Sun and Fun vacation. We arrived Tuesday evening finding majority of property has monthly renters who are drinking, smoking outside their doors, dogs unleashed and no one in office to check in. I asked Wednesday morning for our room to be mopped and get clean towels as our room was discussingly dirty and unsure if a dog was in there previously. Our socks had to be thrown away. We returned keys didn’t work in doors, room had not been touched. We complained but was told they don’t have clean towels. Again, I request the floors to be mopped and clean towels for Thursday. Once again keys didn’t work 3 times were replaced and room remained unclean. I talked to the manager. She told me they don’t service the rooms during the stays. I explained to her that I booked because of the rating which was grossly incorrect. I wanted my room clean, fresh towels and trash take out now or I was going to report to health department for unsafe conditions. She said she would try to get someone to our room. Later a maid arrived at our room with a spray bottle of cleaner and clean towels. Our key didn’t work and sink was leaking. This property needs to be revaluated due to unsanitary conditions and poor management. After paying $100.00 per night we expected better and will not recommend this property. I have also listed it on Sun and Fun site for next year travelers.

The room had a dirty floor, a broken coat rack, a damaged A/C control panel, a hole (burned ) in the cover sheet on the bed, and ROACHES (gave one to the staff to prove they needed an exterminator. The whole hotel looked dilapidated. I cancelled my stay and went elsewhere. The only complimentary remark I can make regards the staff - they were courteous, helpful, and apologized for the roaches.

I have never written a negative report about any place I have stayed in till now. I would like to say that the young man at the front desk was very helpful but he can only work with what he’s got. The first room had a broken A/C. The second room had a television on that I couldn’t turn off. The fellow at the desk gave me a new remote that worked, but I couldn’t get the deadbolt to work. The third room had the TV and a light on but I couldn’t turn either off. The room was really not acceptable, but I was trying to stay off my right foot due to some problems with my big toe, and I couldn’t just keep going back and forth. Without question this is the WORST place I have ever stayed at. While the location is actually pretty good, this level of disrepair and neglect on the part of those responsible for maintaining the physical facility is truly inexcusable!
