The staff were all lovely, very friendly. Simon, Freya and all the people we met were great. The room was very comfortable a great shower and plenty of storage space. Breakfast was superb and cooked to orderr

Glad we stayed in the Golden Eagle, short walk to centre of Chester. The reviews were right, lovely stay, great breakfast, topped up filter coffee was a great touch, the sausages were very good quality. I would stay again, had everything you need and a pub downstairs With friendly welcoming staff. If you want a change from your typical hotel chain, give this place a go.

We had a great overnight stay. The room was as described—comfortable and clean, with a really comfy bed that gave us a great night’s sleep. Excellent central location, very friendly and helpful staff, and a fantastic breakfast to start the day. Would happily stay again!
