Shanti-Som is a Holistic Wellness intimate Retreat, secluded in the mountains of Monda Marbella, in the southern part of Spain, where you can indulge your mind and body in Yoga, Pilates, Detox, Fitness, Weight Loss and general relaxation. There is a large sun terrace with loungers, and a well-equipped gym. The property also has tranquil areas dedicated to yoga. The Asian fusion restaurant at the Shanti Som offers balanced, healthy meals in a relaxed atmosphere. During the summer, guests can also dine on the terrace. Shanti Som is located 2.5 mi from the town of Monda. Marbella is just 10 minutes’ drive away. A shuttle service is available on request for a surcharge.

Ever so friendly staff and delicious food. The hotel was hit with significant rains which affected the feeling in the property ever so slightly. Missing some small additional comforts such as chairs in the bedrooms and more readily available sauna. The steam room was closed for refurbishment too. We paid for room and breakfast only which was far more affordable than a retreat available on the website. Classes are quite pricey but the yoga was worth it. Some hikes to do independently would have been ideal!
