Conveniently located, decent value for money for Coburg. Reception closed because it was the weekly rest day, but phone call to number on the door elicited instructions on how to retrieve the keys from the lockbox. Comfortable, quiet room. Good breakfast, with reasonable choice of food.

This hotel closes at 3pm on Sundays and this was not revealed at time of booking. The door is locked and a guest is asked to call a phone number. The person at the end of the line then gives you a lockbox code. Inside the box are envelopes with front door keys and room numbers but no guest name. The hotel is in the historic center on a narrow one-way street and has no parking facility. When I asked by phone where I could park l was given a street name but no directions. I drove around for 20 minutes but never found the lot. I eventually parked in a structure about 10 minutes walk away. When l finally got to my room there was no WiFi code information. I had to again call the person to get a password. Having said all that, the public rooms are attractive, the guest room was simple but adequate. The breakfast was very good. The location couldn't be more central.
