It gets you there really well. Clean, efficient. Best shower system I ever had. The charm of an old medieval city, fantastic views, wonderful old buildings, excellent restaurants in 500-year-,old settings, the hotel is a stone's throw from all that. It is outside the city walls, a bit overlit at night. Noise level pretty minimal. Nothing broke but if it had I'm not sure who to call. Parking at thd hotel is handy; driving (let alone parking) inside the city walls is tough; it,'s really a giant pedestrian mall with a couple of channels for supply trucks, emergency vehicles.(As it should be!) The motel takes care of that problem.

Citymotel Soest is a no frills but very clean, comfortable and efficient motel. Moderately large room. Exceptional value at 60 euros a night. Fully automated check-in. Minor snacks, coffee and beer (!) from a machine.
