The hotel is excellent for location. Right in the city centre. Parking in East gate shopping centre next door which is discounted to ten pounds per 24 hours. Good room amenities. Excellent powerful shower. Iron and board. Hairdryer. Safe and fridge although hidden away and we didn't find until we were leaving. Good Air Con. Comfortable breakfast. We didn't like or rate the room itself. Small and cramped. There is no ability to open a window at all. This means zero air flow and a stale atmosphere in the air. Made worse by the bathroom heat which again had no extractor fan which means the bathroom was constantly steamed up. The bed was small. About as small as you could get away with. It also moved around which was annoying. The relative smallness of the bed exacerbated how small the floor space is as it was still cramped. At £130 a night not value for money. We were glad to escape it's confines. Breakfast choice was average. Limited fruit options. Okay but no wow factor. Summed up the whole place really. Great location but just somewhere to stay but the room was not pleasant
