Checkin was flawless. Staff welcoming, friendly, and extremely helpful in a transportation crisis, causing us to need an additional night in the room. Furnishings were placed to cause a very functional stay, including the deck table and porch swing. Our room also had reclining chairs and a table to sit at. Pool room and water was exceptional. Gift shop was extensive and well organized with beautiful souvenir items and gifts. This place has a walking trail to the river which we did not have time to take, but walked to the entrance of trail. The grounds have the look and feel of our past stays in Yosemite and Lake Tahoe, California. Absolutely perfect in every way. Oh, did I mention the ice cream and drinks you can buy in the gift shop? 😃

Stayed there in early April so used wall heater which was perfect. The staff was super nice. Everybody from the front desk, which is located in a great gift shop, to the housekeeping and maintenance staff were wonderful. The big surprise was the swimming pool and hot tub. It was indoor with changing rooms and shower. I believe it is open 9-9. Also, pool area was super clean, and the entire area was clean and safe.
