This is not a luxury hotel, BUT if your interest is a calm "refuge" this is the place for you. It is located along the Restonica River. Grab a seat along the bank and take in the peace. The walls are a little thin. You can hear the people in the room next door taking a shower, but don't let that stop you from staying there. They have a wonderful restaurant onsite and the staff is super friendly. The rooms are nice and clean, we had a little kitchenette in our room. If you plan to go to Lake Melo, be sure to ask about the shuttle service from the hotel. It cost 15 Euros per person, round trip. Oh and the shuttle only takes cash. No credit cards. trust me here, it's worth the effort to let someone else drive you back and forth from the trail head. The shuttle picks you up at the hotel at 8:10AM and comes back to pick you at the trail head parking lot at 3:00PM. The driver is very prompt. Don't be late.

Beautiful location and central location for hikes near Corte (Lac de Melo), Restaurant overlooking the small river. The place is rather old and needs some modernization and as a family of 5 we needed 2 rooms.

Location is excellent with access to river, gorge and corte good. Madame was helpful, pleasant and welcoming. Rest of staff were surly, miserable and seemed to spend most of their time at the hotel bar smoking. A strange experience.
