Lovely homely pub and restaurant - and very popular when we visited! Lots of character, open fires and original features make it your ideal, traditional hostlery. Our room was lovely - again, characterful, roomy, and comfortable. Bathroom was modern and clean, bed was fine too. Included a small fridge so we could put a punnet of strawbs we'd purchased at a nearby farm shop to keep fresh. We had our evening meal and breakfast in the main area of the pub, sitting on a lovely bay window seat. The food for both meals was tasty, generous in portions and very enjoyable. Finally, the staff and landlord were very friendly and accomodating. The villiage of Sherington is a charming and sleepy hamlet, unspoilt by urbanisation - so rare these days! Can't fault anything about our stay at The White Hart - so happy to recommend to others to visit/stay.
