I showed up to check into my reserved and paid for room, but nobody was in the office to check me on. There was a button to push to ring a bell that nobody answered. There was a note on the counter with a phone number to call someone, but the number didn't work. The place looked condemned. There wasn't a single car in the parking lot. I ended up leaving and came back three times. Nobody was there. I left and booked another hotel 50 miles down the road. I want a refund. I will never prepay for a room with hotels.com again! Done!

If I could give it 0 stars, I would!! We arrived at the Love Hotel in Murdo and the entire place looked deserted, not a single car in the parking lot, no staff, no lights, absolutely nobody at the front desk. We tried calling, ringing the bell, waiting… nothing. It honestly looked abandoned. Which come to find out, locals from the town said it had been vacant for the last 3 months! Because there was literally NO ONE there to check us in, we ended up having to find another hotel late at night and then, to top it all off, they charged us a late fee for not checking in. We paid for a room we never got to use AND had to pay for a second hotel just so we had somewhere to sleep. Completely unacceptable. Save yourself the headache and stay anywhere else.

where to start? not only is this hotel ABANDONED, but apparently has been for months according to locals. even if it weren’t abandoned, from the outside, it looked very run down and not well taken care off. i’d choose zero if i could.
