Wonderful hotel and staff! The hotel was super clean and it was clear it was recently renovated. Generous size bedroom and bathroom, with a balcony overlooking the beach. The staff couldn't have been nicer. Both front desk members I spoke with were super friendly and attentive and offered suggestions of things to do/places to eat at in the area. The lobby was fully stocked with refreshments, snacks, and toiletries. Everything was free, I couldn't believe it. Breakfast was small (egg frittata, pastries, and fruit) but was made fresh, not the fake eggs that is typical of hotel buffets. I travel for one week every month for work and have stayed at lots of hotels. Hotel Maria was one of the best hotels I stayed at for its location, price, cleanliness, and staff.

The hotel was spotless; staff were all super sweet and helpful. The room was perfect-large, clean, with comfy beds, a nice porch, great coffee, strong shower…and lots of yummy snacks. I will definitely stay there again!
