In Bowness village, a 10-minute walk from Lake Windermere, this Victorian guest house still retains many of its original features. Offering free off-road parking, free Wi-Fi, and peaceful private gardens it is an ideal base for exploring Windermere and the Lake District. Rooms at Oakfold House are elegant in style, and some have traditional fireplaces. Each has an private bathroom, flat-screen TV, and a drinks tray for tea, coffee and biscuits. The property reserves the right to not grant guests access to the property if they exceed the maximum room capacity. Guest arriving outside of the stated check-in times without prior arrangement may be turned away. Guest will be charged a fee if they are found to have caused any damages during their stay.
