This property does not have elevators

I stay in a lot of hotels and I must say that this hotel is tired and in need of a makeover. The mattress on the bed was on its last legs you could feel every spring in it and when you sat on it you could feel the frame underneath. The paintwork behind the door handles needed cleaning as did the stair carpets. The food was good though and they had a five start food rating. I was the only person staying there on the one night and I don’t know if that is indicative. Would I stay there again? No I would not there are plenty of other hotels in the town to choose from

We did not eat so can’t say anything about the room. Room was large and clean. Only downside was my wife found the bed rather uncomfortable.

A basic hotel right in the heart of Bala. Lovely, helpful staff.
