We were given a room that was dirty. It had something dark splattered on the wall, fingerprints in the bathroom, the fridge had a constant whirling sound, the room was musty and so was the hallway to the room. We asked for a clean room and were given keys to a room that was already occupied. When we went back to the front desk, she said the only other room we could have was the dirty room. No offer to clean it! When I told her that it either had to be cleaned or I want a refund... she handed me a receipt for most of the refund. The only good thing they did was to let me know that I'd left behind my computer bag. I appreciate that... but they kept my over night bag with jewlery and make-up saying they didnt find it. No, they kept it! DO NOT STAY HERE!

The TV was not set up. The desk clerk was great. She reset the system for us. At 2:30AM the TV turned on waking us up. we could not go back to sleep after that. The room is dirty & the stairway is gross. The exterior door by the stairway does not lock. We have been fans of La Quinta Inns for years, but if we based our view of La Quinta on this location, we would never stay at another one
