Certainly not your cosy-up type pub. Modern characterless pub (in what looked a charming village), filled with people enjoying a rowdy drink and match. Dont get me wrong, the service from the lady was excellent, but there was absolutely no where to escape the noise. The bedroom were recently updated, but had zero sound proofing. The noise from the pub was heard until closing time. However once closed ( and the noise from the cooking extracwas turned off), it was surprisingly quiet. The biggest disappointment ( which would have resulted in a highef score) was the fact the " cooked breakfast " was actually a sandwich from next door 7-11 - ate in the bedroom.
