We stayed at Callahan's Mountain Lodge for a week since we wanted a "Lodge experience" over a standard hotel. The Lodge location in the mountain was beautiful especially with the snow all around. If you go without any expectations you will be pleasantly surprised. The staff were very friendly and always willing to accommodate any request to the best of their ability. The overall ambience was warm and inviting. We stayed in a room with a jacuzzi and fireplace. The room was clean upon arrival and relatively large. What made our experience all the more enjoyable was the delicious food created by Chef Alohalani. She went out of her way to cook a Hawaiian dish for us, knowing we were from Hawaii. The meals overall were very tasty and well presented. We would also like to commend Jessica, Ni'Kala & Danielle who served us in the restaurant. Bonnie and Susie at the front desk were always very friendly, kind and accommodating. Mark & Lisa (Owners) are very blessed to have such a wonderful team to rely on. Speaking of Mark & Lisa, they were also physically present, very friendly and jumped in to help at dinner service on the busy nights over the weekend. Finally, the fact that this is a pet friendly property enhanced our overall experience since our daughter and her dog were very well greeted and looked after as well. This is definitely a place to visit and experience no matter the season.

Everything was great other then our dinner my husband hamburger was raw and he asked for well done so we asked for a new one and got the same thing so I told the manger and he was very understanding and told us when we come back he will make sure everything good! Then one other thing we had to move to next room over at 8 pm at night because room we was checked into the spa bathtub wasn’t working so that was kinda a hassle but other then that it was great rooms are very nice and kept very clean we plan on staying again!:)
