Room and general areas were clean. Ice machines on two floors were out of service. Strong smell of marijuana on the ground floor. Biggest problem, was that on the two evenings we returned to the hotel at 6.30 pm, there was no one on the front desk. Just a sign saying, I will be back shortly. This doesn't really make one feel at all safe. It was over 10 minutes the first evening, the second I didn't bother to wait. I know staffing can be an issue, but having just returned from Spain and had THE BEST experience of hotel staffing, it makes you realize that we really don't do customer service here anymore.

The room was not as listed when I made the booking. Booked king room with pull out couch. No couch in room. Offered twin roll away for bed, needed chair for elderly person to sleep in reason for booking. All Outlets in bathroom did not work.

We enjoyed our stay at spark hilton Amarillo Texas The bed was very soft luxurious bedding comfortable It was very quiet and the A/C worked great
