Our stay at the Sand Bar Cottage was delightful. The space is adorable and the outdoor space with fire pits and individual heat lamps over tables on the covered porch made it cozy even with the cooler weather. Chris was very personable as were all the staff, making excellent recommendations and just overall good conversation. Breakfast was delicious and it was fun to meet and mingle with other guests. The location is great and I would not hesitate to stay here again if we find ourselves back in Bar Harbor.

Very cute property. Don’t skip breakfast it was soooo good. Staff was super kind and helpful. Only con is you can hear everything.. luckily we were so exhausted from hiking all day it didn’t bother us too much and we were easily able to fall back asleep. Would come back for sure.
