The hotel is close to the historical city centre and the railway station. It is located only a few kilometres away from the wide Ravenna beaches and from the Mirabilandia amusement park. The staff at Hotel Mosaico were very friendly and helpful, and if not for them, I would have rated the hotel even lower. When we arrived, there was no air conditioning in our room and no instructions whatsoever about how to turn the air on. It was sweltering. The staff gave us ice for our drinks. The refrigerator was also not cold and it took about 12 hours to get that way. Worst of all, however, was the tiny shower. The shower door folded in, there was no room to shave your legs, and there was not separate shampoo, conditioner, and body wash … there was an all-in-one product that was not kind to my hair. The shower was smaller than what we have in our camper!!! It took a very long time for the water to get hot in the shower.
