This property does not have elevators

Calling it boutique doesn’t make it so. The house tel is nice but nothing special. Arrived Monday no restaurant. Had to complain because could hear water running, was told it was the water tank filling this had been going on about an hour at 10pm before I complained. Fair play they turned it off when I said. Dinner Tuesday night they tried to charge me for food I hadn’t asked for this was sorted when I refused to pay for it. I think the rooms need sound proofing because on one evening I could hear a few blokes chatting in another room and I was woken up at 2am by a couple talking loudly and then making other noises. Not sure I’d stay here again.

Never saw any staff, as it's 'contactless'. Would much prefer a manned front desk. Room clean and more than adequate for one or two nights. Didn't use any of the dining facilities.
